Dear God, an update.

I have been working non-stop, and trying to find the time to get some sleep is getting impossible. Bah.

I almost forgot about these ones!

Need more practice. Also, I find myself less productive when drawing with a pencil, for some odd reason. I've got another bunch of images to scan at home aaaaaaand yes I know the middle girl's eyes are creepily small. Ok.

Sketch update

I've been trying to get the drawing bug going again, which is why I'm posting pretty much everything. There's crap, there's decent stuff. I don't really try fixing whatever's wrong (ie: that girl's wonky knee!) but I do appreciate critique.

Maybe my sketching will one day turn into finished works, but for now, I'm quite content with messy sketching. Anyways.

The snake and the apple

You know, I'm not a big fan of computer coloring, or drawing. I can't really seem to get the tablet working and then my lines are all scribbly, and it drives me nuts! But this year, I think I'll try and work harder at getting this stuff nailed down. God knows I can't paint, so at least I should make some attempt at coloring somehow.

Anyways, here's a piece that I started some time last week. I've been mainly picking my way at it, trying to figure out techniques and stuff. I'd also like to say that this is my veeeery first all-computer drawing (except for oekaki's) and yeah. Um. Obviously pretty rough. Ok. Ta!

I CG worth crap

SO. I recently got my computer set up all nice and pretty, and I actually started using my tablet again (but no pics in this post, dear lord!) and it's SO HARD TO DRAW WITH. I need to get myself some Painter action, because Photoshop kind of blows when it comes to that stuff. Anyways.

FINALLY, 2009 Update

Man, if only there was a way for me to do audio commentaries while I scan my sketchbook. There would be many funnies. Unfortunately, by the time I get to post my billions of sketches, I'm way too lazy to write anything. NOT TO MENTION PHOTOSHOP CLOSED AFTER MY 42nd SCAN. WITHOUT SAVING.

Needless to say, my computer is finally set up. Without internet, since my G5 doesn't have wireless. So more waiting for that, butt at least now my 'station' is temporarily in the library/living room. I'm not sure how much sketching I'll get done now though, since Little Big Planet has kind of... well, it kind of ate my soul. Mm.
