Seriously, I'm still waiting on my computer to be hooked up. In the meantime, here's a quick caricature done in Illustrator for my boss on his 50th birthday. Quick quick quick. It's been pretty steady at work, anyways.

WELL. Hopefully in two week's I'll have everything set. I've gone through a sketchbook and a half so far since August - I'll have tons of scanning to do! Oi!

Update

I have a sketchbook that's half full, and I'm unable to scan anything! Although I guess it's for the best since NaNoWriMo is borrowing me for the month of November.

The house has been under renovation for almost three months now, and I've been at my in-laws for two months. Painting is almost done, flooring will be put down this week, and a brand new kitchen is being installed next week. I can't wait to have everything done and settled in.

Next update, hopefully, will be in two weeks when I get my scanner installed again. Oi!

Although I might as well be. In the middle of completely renovating the new house. Living with the in-laws at the moment. I've been sick since last week and Monday I get my wisdom teeth removed. Celebrated my one year anniversary this week. Joined NaNoWriMo.

Ahaha, this post looks so odd. And no, I didn't randomly feel like drawing half naked boys, Sebrahn is a character from the book Shadows Return, by Lynn Flewelling. Fantastic book, I highly recommend.

RIP: Electric Socket

The socket where I had EVERYTHING plugged in died last week. Sure, normally it wouldn't be a big deal except I have no wheres to stick my Mac Pro at (it weights like 50 lbs!) Which means I have no way to scan things. Hopefully I'll get up and running soon enough. Too bad I suck at using a tablet. Ha ha!

Just a quick update, I guess. I joined this livejournal community where you draw a character every day and post it. I'm not going to post ALL of them, but it'll explain why you'll be seeing this character a lot, LOL.

Random update! I've spent my last couple months mainly playing Rock Band, as illustrated above.

MAN. HEROES IS SO GOOD. I highly recommend it. Even though I'm like, two years late.

ANYWAYS, more drawing. Last weekend did some work with the IWK, we pasted kids' heads on superhero bodies that we drew, it was quite a bit of fun! BUT SO MANY KIDS.

SO. I've been trying to figure out a whole story. Or whatever. I haven't figured out much about it besides the characters and all, and only done sketches, but I want to see how far I can get into it before I eventually (always happens!) lose interest in it. But what's hilarious is that I had used some of the same designs when I was like, thirteen. Anyways.
